Shem west is an artistic pioneer at heart with a craze for Art & Design from the very young age of 6 years old. He would often find himself drawing his favourite manga cartoons in his spare time. This interest followed him throughout school and college until he decided to follow his true love for the craft. In an attempt to sharpen his skills, he began to attend Live Magazine, a free quarterly magazine created by young people under the age of 24 - he quickly earned the title of assistant graphic editor due to his talents. Shem currently specializes in 2D animation and is on the verge of creating his own animation (based from a comic strip he created with Leroy Ayton and Jonathan Gowdie), which he will be previewing as part of his short animation piece for his final year project.​
